Delaware County Children’s Advocacy Center

A Welcoming Space

The Delaware County Children’s Advocacy Center (DCCAC) is a welcoming space where children who may be victims of child abuse come to talk with a specially trained forensic interviewer about their experiences. It’s also a place where their families can get the support and information they need about the investigative process and community resources.

The DCCAC follows a national, research-based, multi-disciplinary model for responding to allegations of child abuse. This model has been shown to reduce the need for children to testify about their abuse in court, increase successful prosecution of child abusers, and make it easier for families to navigate the criminal justice system.

The DCCAC is part of Family Support Line, a nonprofit organization committed to advancing the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse.
